Description of the facility

The house is poorly accessible. The entrance has a high step, as well as entrances to other exhibition spaces in the house. Access to the exhibition spaces in the attic is only possible via extremely steep stairs. Access to the basement spaces with the gallery and toilet rooms that are not accessible runs through an outer courtyard with a steep slope and gravel surface.
There is a barn behind the house with an established multipurpose space that is not accessible to wheelchair users due to the path and the changes of level at the entrance. The spaces are not adequately lit and do not have contrasting visual markings for the obstructions.

  • The reception desk is adequately lit and enables lip-reading and interpreting facial expressions.

  • Entry to the building is less accessible due to the high steps,
  • The changes of level are not adequately addressed (high steps between rooms, no lift, inclined terrain outside),
  • The building does not have accessible sanitary facilities.

People with visual impairments:

  • The glazed glass doors do not have contrasting visual markings,
  • The reception desk is not located in the immediate vicinity of the entrance,
  • The information is only provided visually,
  • The edges of stairs and changes of level do not have contrasting visual markings,
  • Height obstacles are not suitably marked,
  • None of the exhibited items enable tactile exploration of the exhibited material.

People with hearing impairments:

  • The building is not equipped with an induction loop.
