Description of the facility

The gymnasium is partially accessible and is located on the ground floor of a multi-purpose building. Access to the building with the gym is from the parking lot through courtyard gates, which have a short and unprotected ramp at the threshold. In front of the entrance to the building are non-contrasting stairs. Mobility-impaired users can access the entrance via a slightly sloped terrain. The entrance doors and interior doors are threshold-free. Restrooms, showers, and changing rooms are not adapted for wheelchair users. The martial arts ring in the gym is not accessible to mobility-impaired persons.

Adjustments:

Mobility impaired:

  • there is a marked parking space near the entrance, but it is not of adequate dimensions,
  • the main entrance to the building is accessible,
  • there is sufficient maneuvering space inside.

Blind and visually impaired:

  • no major adjustments.

Deaf and hard-of-hearing:

  • no major adjustments.

Deficiencies:

Mobility impaired:

  • the parking space is not of adequate dimensions and is not properly marked,
  • on the accessible path there is a short, unprotected ramp,
  • there are no adapted sanitary facilities in the building,
  • shower cabins have high thresholds,
  • the martial arts ring in the gym is not accessible.

Blind and visually impaired:

  • the entrance to the building is not clearly recognizable,
  • the information board at the main entrance is not appropriate,
  • there are sudden transitions from light to dark areas in the building,
  • signs and labels in the building are not at an appropriate height,
  • edges of stairs and height differences are not contrast-marked,
  • the railing at the stairs does not extend beyond the last step.

Deaf and hard-of-hearing:

  • no major deficiencies.
