Description of the facility

The art gallery is poorly accessible to people with mobility impairments and partially accessible to people with other impairments. Two unsecured and steep ramps lead to the entrance. The reception area with a ticket counter and a shop and the gallery spaces on the ground floor are accessible to wheelchair users, while the upper floors and the workshop space are not accessible to wheelchair users. The building does not have a lift.

The non-accessible sanitary facilities are located on the first floor.

The museum provides an educational program for people with visual impairments. They also provide a tactile evacuation map and a tactile map of the sanitary facilities.

  • The gradient of one of the ramps in front of the entrance is not suitable,
  • The ramps in front of the entrance are not adequately secured,
  • The building does not have a lift (no access to the sanitary facilities, workshop spaces and gallery spaces on the first floor),
  • The building does not have accessible sanitary facilities,
  • The exhibited items in the exhibition spaces are not placed at suitable heights.

People with visual impairments:

  • The main entrance to the building is not easily recognizable, because the front door is to the left of the covered entryway space,
  • The path to the entrance and the reception desk is not marked with tactile floor markings,
  • The window of the reception desk does not have contrasting visual markings,
  • The signage and lettering in the building are not placed at suitable heights,
