Description of the facility

The theatre is partially accessible. The entrance is located in the passage between Čopova and Nazorjeva streets. During performances, it is open and relatively easy to notice, but at other times, due to the many glass walls, the entrance is not easily distinguishable.
On the right side of the ground floor is the ticket office, which is accessible via a ramp, followed by a lobby with a cloakroom counter.
The building contains two halls, accessible via a circular staircase or by elevator.
In the larger hall with fixed seats, there are no adapted places for wheelchair users, while in the smaller hall, the seats are movable. The stage is accessible via a freight elevator. Several times a year, performances with subtitles are organized.
Adapted sanitary facilities are located on the upper floor.

Adjustments:

Mobility impaired:

  • The ramp to the ticket office allows independent use,
  • There is enough maneuvering space inside,
  • The small hall has movable seats,
  • The building has an elevator of suitable dimensions,
  • The building has adapted sanitary facilities available.

Blind and visually impaired:

  • No adaptations.

Deaf and hard of hearing:

  • Subtitles are available at performances,
  • The spaces are properly soundproofed.

Deficiencies:

Mobility impaired:

  • The reception and cloakroom counters are not height-adjusted for wheelchair users,
  • There are no designated wheelchair spaces in the large hall.

Blind and visually impaired:

  • The entrance to the building is not clearly recognizable,
  • Glass doors are not marked with contrast,
  • The reception desk is not located near the entrance,
  • The path to the distant reception desk is not tactilely marked,
  • Buttons in the elevator are not tactile,
  • The edges of the stairs are not marked with contrast.

Deaf and hard of hearing:

  • The building is not equipped with a hearing loop.
