Description of the facility

The restaurant is easily accessible, while the hotel is partially accessible.
The joint entrance opens into a large reception area. The restaurant is located on the ground floor behind it. There are stairs and lift near the reception desk enabling access to accessible sanitary facilities in the basement and to the hotel rooms and conference room on the higher floors. The hotel rooms are not accessible. The lack of room to manoeuvre and high edges of showers are an obstacle. Most of the doors are light and do not feature steps. The building is adequately lit.
The conference room is located on the topmost floor and is not equipped with an induction loop.

Adaptations:

People with mobility impairments:

  • There is an accessible parking spot near the entrance,
  • There is sufficient room to manoeuvre indoors,
  • The height of the restaurant’s buffet counter is adapted to wheelchair users,
  • The seating in the conference room is moveable,
  • There is a suitably sized lift in the building,
  • The building has accessible sanitary facilities,
  • The bathrooms of the hotel rooms feature emergency call facilities.

People with visual impairments:

  • The reception desk is located in the immediate vicinity of the entrance,
  • The edges of stairs have contrasting visual markings.

People with hearing impairments:

  • The conference room has adequate sound insulation.

Deficiencies:

People with mobility impairments:

  • The height of the reception desk is not adapted to wheelchair users,
  • The building does not feature bedrooms accommodating wheelchair users (the showers in the bathroom have high steps),
  • There is not sufficient room to manoeuvre in the rooms.

People with visual impairments:

  • The glazed glass doors do not have contrasting visual markings,
  • The lift buttons do not have raised tactile letters.

People with hearing impairments:

  • The building is not equipped with an induction loop.
