Description of the facility

The restaurant is well adapted, while the hotel is partially accessible.
The entrance is shared and opens into a spacious reception area. Behind it, on the ground floor, is the restaurant. Near the reception desk, there is a staircase with an elevator providing access to the adapted sanitary facilities in the basement, as well as to hotel rooms and a conference room on the upper floors. The hotel rooms themselves are not adapted. The main issues include a lack of maneuvering space and high shower cabin edges. Most doors are lightweight and without thresholds. The building is well lit.
The conference room is located on the top floor and is not equipped with a hearing loop.

Adaptations:

Mobility impaired:

  • an adapted parking space is located near the entrance,
  • there is sufficient maneuvering space inside the building,
  • the restaurant’s self-service counter is height-adjusted for wheelchair users,
  • chairs in the conference room are movable,
  • the building has an elevator of suitable dimensions,
  • adapted sanitary facilities are available,
  • bathrooms in hotel rooms are equipped with emergency call devices.

Blind and visually impaired:

  • the reception desk is located near the entrance,
  • stair edges are marked with contrast.

Deaf and hard of hearing:

  • the conference room has appropriate sound insulation.

Deficiencies:

Mobility impaired:

  • the reception desk is not height-adjusted for wheelchair users,
  • there are no adapted hotel rooms (bathrooms have high shower thresholds),
  • rooms lack sufficient maneuvering space.

Blind and visually impaired:

  • glass doors are not marked with contrast,
  • elevator buttons are not tactile.

Deaf and hard of hearing:

  • the building is not equipped with a hearing loop.
