Description of the facility

The hotel is poorly accessible. Access to the upper three floors is only possible via stairs. The entrances to the restaurant and the hotel are separate but both accessible for people with mobility impairments, with an internal passage connecting them. The ground-floor restaurant is partially accessible and equipped with adapted restrooms. Orientation toward the hotel reception desk is difficult. Rooms are located on the ground floor but are not accessible to wheelchair users. The interior lighting is inadequate.

Adaptations:

Mobility impaired:

  • the main entrance to the building is accessible,
  • the restaurant has adapted restrooms.

Blind and visually impaired:

  • the reception desk is located near the entrance (to the restaurant).

Deaf and hard of hearing:

  • the reception desk is well-lit, allowing lip reading and observation of facial expressions.

Deficiencies:

Mobility impaired:

  • the adapted parking space is not properly marked,
  • the reception desk is not height-adjusted for wheelchair users,
  • there is insufficient maneuvering space in the interior,
  • there is no elevator in the building,
  • there are no accessible rooms for wheelchair users.

Blind and visually impaired:

  • the entrance to the building is not easily recognizable,
  • glass doors are not marked with contrast,
  • there are sudden transitions from bright to dark areas inside,
  • signs and labels are not appropriately arranged,
  • stair edges are not contrast-marked.

Deaf and hard of hearing:

  • the reception desk is not equipped with a hearing loop.
