UIRS accessibility assessment
Description of the facility
The hostel is partially accessible.
The building has a main and a side entrance. Access through the main entrance is difficult for wheelchair users due to sloped terrain. The side entrance has an unprotected ramp without handrails or curbs. The building has three floors and no elevator. Obstacles such as columns, railings, and door buffers appear in the hallways.
On the ground floor, there is one adapted room with a bathroom for wheelchair users and a restaurant with sufficient maneuvering space. At the exit to the terrace (part of the restaurant), there is a high step. The terrace contains obstacles such as thresholds, a step, damaged paving, and a handle on a metal surface. Floors on the ground and first floors are uneven (raised/sunken) with several types of paving. Accessible restrooms are available on the ground floor.
