Description of the facility

The building is partially accessible. The main entrance from Cesta 9. avgusta leads to the larger lobby with the ticket counter and stairs with access to the upper floor. The stairs have a dangerous unsecured edge. The building does not have a lift.
Access to the halls for wheelchair users is enabled through the side entrance from the car park. The interior of the building also has a small ramp.
The hall is equipped with non-moveable seating; designated areas for wheelchair users are in the back of the hall. There is also a glass hall with moveable equipment on the same floor.
Access to the balconies of the large hall is only possible via stairs.
The halls are not equipped with an induction loop. 

Adaptations:

People with mobility impairments:

  • There is an accessible parking spot near the entrance,
  • The side entrance near the car park is adapted for wheelchairs,
  • The height of the ticket counter is adapted to wheelchair users,
  • There is sufficient room to manoeuvre indoors,
  • The places for wheelchair users are on the ground floor of the hall (after last row of seats).

People with visual impairments:

  • The ticket counter is located in the immediate vicinity of the entrance,
  • The edges of stairs have contrasting visual markings.

People with hearing impairments:

  • The spaces have adequate sound insulation.

Deficiencies:

People with mobility impairments:

  • The gradient of the ramp on the side entrance is not suitable,
  • The building does not have a lift,
  • The building does not have accessible sanitary facilities.

People with visual impairments:

  • The path to the ticket counter is not marked with tactile floor markings,
  • The window of the ticket counter does not have contrasting visual markings,
  • The edges of stairs do not have contrasting visual markings,
  • The dangerous unsecured edge of the stairs on the ground floor is not suitably marked.

People with hearing impairments:

  • The halls are not equipped with an induction loop.
