On 23 April 2025, an expert jury met and made a very difficult decision to select the prize-winning works in the art competition “Do you see a person or a disability?”, which took place within the framework of the project “A nationwide awareness-raising campaign on the social inclusion of people with disabilities?”.
The theme of the competition, aimed at children and young people, was disability and related stories. From 30 September 2024 to 15 March 2025, we received 114 diverse works of art from kindergartens, primary and secondary schools across Slovenia – drawings, photographs, poems, stories… All the entries impressed the jury with their originality, their message and their perception of disability through the eyes of children and young people, so the decision was not an easy one.
