Description of the facility

The interior of the Hrastnik Youth Center is well accessible, but access to the center through the building is not possible for wheelchair users.
A bus stop is located near the building. The path from the bus stop to the entrance is poorly arranged, as the curbs are not lowered everywhere. Parking for people with mobility impairments is available in the parking lot in front of the entrance. The parking space is not marked with ground markings, so it may be occupied by other users.
The Hrastnik Youth Center is located on the first floor of the building, which hosts several different users or institutions. The building has no elevator, and access is arranged with two ramps that are unsafe for use.
The entrance is poorly marked.
A wide main staircase without tactile or contrasting floor markings leads to the raised entrance and wind lobby.
Next to the building, through a side staircase to the wind lobby, there is a narrow, improvised wooden ramp that is slippery and without a railing. Its slope is too steep for wheelchair users (including those with electric wheelchairs).
The side passage to the wind lobby via the ramp is too narrow for wheelchair users.
From the wind lobby, a wide staircase without contrasting markings and with a single handrail leads to the first floor. Another extremely steep, narrow wooden ramp without a railing is laid over the staircase. It includes an intermediate landing that is too small for maneuvering, and due to the steep slope, longer wheelchairs can get stuck on it.
The entrance from the staircase into the center’s premises is clearly visible. In the main area of the center, there is a multipurpose room with a kitchenette and a stage, used for socializing and small events. There is enough maneuvering space in the room for wheelchair users, and all furniture is movable.
Accessible toilets for people with disabilities are located near the entrance to the center. Inside the toilet room, there is slightly insufficient maneuvering space.
There is no hearing loop in the premises. Written information is mostly adequate.
