Description of the facility

Terme Portorož are partially accessible. The bus station is nearby, and the path to the resort is on a sloped sidewalk without tactile guidance. Public parking spaces for mobility-impaired visitors are along the main road. The main entrance has stairs and a ramp. Internal access from nearby hotels is possible via stairs. The building has a basement, ground floor, mezzanine, and three upper floors, all connected by stairs and two suitably adapted elevators.

The reception desk is near the main entrance, but it is not height-adjusted for wheelchair users and is not equipped with a hearing loop. The Sauna Park is accessible from the lobby to the left, but the saunas themselves are not adapted due to narrow maneuvering spaces and are on two floors connected only by stairs. Lockers are not wheelchair-accessible. The pool area is accessible via a wider passage (on request to staff). Only one pool is accessible; others are reachable only by stairs and have no lift or ramp. Adapted sanitary facilities allow frontal access only. Treatments and services in Thalasso, Beauty, Fitness, Shakti Ayurveda, and Medical & Physiotherapy centers are mostly poorly accessible. Signage is limited, with sudden transitions from bright to dark areas and obstacles on narrow corridors.
