UIRS accessibility assessment
Description of the facility
The building is partially accessible.
The sidewalk on the route from the nearest bus stop to the building is in poor condition in several places, making it uneven and unlevel. At some pedestrian crossings, the sidewalk is not lowered to the street level. The route is not equipped with tactile or contrasting floor markings.
The entrance to the building is equipped with a ramp. The entrance door has a high threshold, which may pose an obstacle for manual wheelchair users. Access to all areas of the building is through the entrance hall. The reception desk is located near the entrance.
In the dance hall, the stage or training area is on the same level as the entrance to the hall. The stands are stepped and therefore inaccessible to wheelchair users. There are no designated floor spaces for wheelchair users; however, a person in a wheelchair can generally watch the performance from in front of the stands.
The dressing room for performers is small, and access is further hindered by a narrow passage from the entrance hall. There is also a separate area with sinks and showers, which is small and not adapted for persons with disabilities.
There are no hearing loops in the building.
The building has no adapted restrooms. The only restrooms available are very small, and access is through a narrow corridor.
