Description of the facility

The Hrastnik Museum premises are poorly accessible and inaccessible for wheelchair users.
The bus stop is 300m away. The path to the museum is arranged along the sidewalk. Most of the path is inclined. There is a parking lot next to the building, but the path to it is not marked. One parking space for disabled persons is designated there.
The entrance from the sidewalk is noticeable. There are stairs in front of and behind the doors, and the height difference is not bridged with a ramp or lift platform. The museum exhibition spaces are spread over three floors. Written content is mostly appropriately sized and contrasting, but not available in Braille. Some exhibition items can be touched as part of guided tours. In the puppet theater hall on the upper floor, there are no special adaptations for deaf or hard of hearing and for blind or visually impaired visitors.
The floors are connected by stairs; there is no elevator or lift platform. There is no reception desk; tickets must be purchased in advance at the Hrastnik TIC.
The museum does not have adapted sanitary facilities.
The building has no hearing loop.
