Description of the facility

Description of the Facility

The facility is partially accessible.
The Maribor Tabor railway station is located about 100 meters from the Youth Cultural Center.
The center is situated on the first floor of the building and does not have a reception desk. In front of the building, there is one partially adapted parking space. Access to the parking lot is through an automatic barrier, which can be raised by calling. The entrance to the building is recognizable and equipped with a ramp, but there is a barely noticeable step in front of it. The glass sliding entrance doors are not marked with contrast.
Inside, all floors are connected by stairs and a sufficiently large elevator, which has touchscreen buttons, making it difficult to use for blind and visually impaired persons.
Within the center, there are two lecture rooms and a meeting room, all accessed from a wide and well-lit hallway. All three rooms are equipped with hearing loops and have movable furniture, providing enough maneuvering space for wheelchair users. Most of the hallway signs are not of appropriate size or contrast.
There are no adapted restrooms. However, restrooms in the hostel located on the second floor can be used.
