Description of the facility

The Mladinska knjiga bookstore branch on Čopova Street in Ljubljana is inaccessible.
The bus stop (Pošta) is located near the bookstore. Tactile markings lead from the bus stop toward the Mladinska knjiga bookstore, but they are suddenly interrupted in some places. The markings are not contrasting.
The entrance is difficult to notice, as it does not contrast with the surroundings. On the door, there is an information board with opening hours, but the font is too small.
In front of the entrance to the bookstore, there is a high and uneven step that prevents access for mobility-impaired persons using wheelchairs.
The bookstore itself is on two levels, connected only by stairs. On the upper level, there are additional books in Slovenian and English, tarot cards, and some picture books. There is not enough maneuvering space in any part of the store, as movement is obstructed by tables or display stands. The passages are narrow. Some shelves are too high, while product tables are lower and therefore easier to reach. Lighting is adequate.
The main cash register is located near the entrance. There is also not enough maneuvering space there.
Product prices and category labels are too small. The store does not offer books adapted for people with special needs, but audiobooks are available through the Mladinska knjiga PLUS app (a monthly or annual subscription is required).
There is no hearing loop in the bookstore.
The bookstore does not have adapted sanitary facilities.
