Description of the facility

The Lidl premises on Italijanska Street are partially accessible.
The bus stop is located on the adjacent street (at the end of the roundabout) and is accessible via sidewalk.
Adapted parking spaces are available in the parking lot near the entrance.
A shopping cart station is available close to the store.
The entrance doors are automatic and made of glass, clearly visible as they are covered with promotional material and contrast markings.
Directly behind the store entrance, shopping baskets are available.
The store is entirely on the ground floor. Inside, there is sufficient maneuvering space between shelves and at the checkout counters.
Some shelves are too high. Due to the difficulty in opening and the depth of freezers, some refrigerated elements are harder to reach. Stations with bags are sometimes not at an appropriate height.
Product labels and signage are appropriately sized and well-contrasted.
Fruit and other products are weighed at the checkout. Checkout counters are too high.
The building is not equipped with hearing loops. There are no adapted sanitary facilities in the building.

 

Adaptations

Mobility impaired:

  • There is an adapted parking space near the entrance,
  • The main entrance to the building is accessible,
  • Inside, there is sufficient maneuvering space for wheelchair users.

Blind and visually impaired:

  • The entrance to the building is clearly recognizable,
  • Glass doors are contrast-marked,
  • Signs and labels inside the building are contrastive and legible,
  • Prices and labels on higher shelves are displayed in larger text.

Deaf and hard of hearing:

  • No adaptations.

 

Deficiencies

Mobility impaired:

  • The checkout counter is not height-adjusted for wheelchair users,
  • Some shelves are too high or inaccessible due to their shape.

Blind and visually impaired:

  • There is no information board at the main entrance,
  • Handles of refrigerated cabinets are not contrast-marked everywhere.

Deaf and hard of hearing:

  • The building is not equipped with a hearing loop.
