UIRS accessibility assessment
Description of the facility
The Lidl premises at Bežigrad 11 are partially accessible.
There is a bus stop nearby, accessible via the sidewalk. The accessible path from the sidewalk to Lidl is specifically marked with a floor marking; at other crossings, the path is obstructed due to raised thresholds and bollards.
Adapted parking spaces are located in the parking lot near the entrance. In the building’s garage, which is accessed via a relatively narrow and steep conveyor, there are no adapted parking spaces.
The entrance doors are automatic and glass, covered with the company’s contrast stickers, but otherwise have no contrast strips.
The store is entirely located on the ground floor. Lighting is adequate. Inside, there is sufficient maneuvering space between shelves and at the checkouts.
Some shelves are too high. Due to difficult opening and the depth of freezers, the refrigerated units are harder to access.
Signs and labels in the store are appropriately contrasted and large. Product prices are readable, but descriptions are too small.
Fruit and other products are weighed at the checkouts. Checkout counters are at an appropriate height. The building is not equipped with hearing loops.
There are also self-checkouts, where staff assistance is available; otherwise, the distance of the control screen may hinder usage for wheelchair users, and poor readability of instructions may hinder visually impaired users. To exit at self-checkouts, the receipt must be scanned.
There are no adapted sanitary facilities in the building.
