Description of the facility

The Lidl premises in Grosuplje are partially accessible.
There is a bus stop near the building. The path from the bus stop to the building crosses a bicycle lane several times, which makes safe movement difficult for blind and visually impaired people. Key decision points (crossing the street, bicycle lane) are adequately marked. There are no tactile floor guides.
Adapted parking spaces are located in the parking lot near the entrance. Additionally, there is a charging station for electric cars, which is not accessible for wheelchair users. Stations with shopping carts, including carts for mobility-impaired users, are also located near the building.
The entrance doors are automatic and easily detectable. Information about opening hours is placed behind glass and is therefore difficult to read.
The store is entirely on the ground floor. Inside, there is sufficient maneuvering space between shelves and at the checkout counters.
Some shelves are inaccessible for wheelchair users because they are placed too high or too low. Items such as bags and gloves are placed too low in some areas. Due to the difficulty of opening and the depth of the freezer, using these elements and retrieving products is difficult for wheelchair users. The control scale is accessible, but the trash underneath it is placed too low. Assistance is provided to customers as needed.
Some products in the technical department (tools, home products) protrude into the space and pose a particular hazard for blind and visually impaired shoppers.
The changing cabin does not have a wide enough entrance and does not have appropriate dimensions for wheelchair users.
Signs, labels, and product prices are mostly appropriately sized and well-contrasted, but the product descriptions under the prices are too small. Pictograms are mostly appropriately sized and sufficiently contrasted; only dairy product labels are insufficiently contrasted.
Fruit and other products are weighed at the checkout.
Checkout counters are too high. Screens at the checkout are reflective and too small.
The coffee machine in the entrance lobby is not accessible to wheelchair users due to the height of its controls. Its screen is at the correct height but reflective. There are no proper usage instructions next to the coffee machine.
The building is not equipped with a hearing loop.
