Description of the facility

Kolezija Outdoor Swimming Pool is well accessible.

The facility includes two pools, stands, saunas, and a bar. There is no bus stop directly nearby; the closest bus stops, Jadranska and Ziherlova, are about a 10-minute walk away. Adapted parking spaces are located in the building’s garage, with access to the reception lobby via an elevator.

Before the entrance, there are hazards, such as fixed stone benches that are not contrast-marked. The entrance doors are glass and automatic, but difficult to visually detect and not contrast or tactile marked.

The reception desk is over 5 meters from the entrance, and the path to it is not contrast or tactile marked. The desk is positioned in front of windows, making lip reading difficult. It is not equipped with a hearing loop. The ticket validation device is too narrow for wheelchair access, but a side passage is available and sufficiently wide.

Signage in the facility is contrast-marked, but sometimes too small or placed too high. Some hallways are slightly narrow, making maneuvering larger wheelchairs or mobility devices difficult. Adapted changing rooms are available, but insufficiently spacious for entering with a wheelchair or with a companion. In this case, larger adapted restrooms nearby are more suitable.

Saunas are poorly accessible due to being too small for wheelchair entry. Edges of outdoor pools are not contrast or tactile marked. The main pool has a ladder, and a pool lift is available for the Olympic pool, but lifeguard assistance is required. The children’s pool has stairs with a handrail; pool lift access is not possible. Stands are not wheelchair-accessible.

Outdoor changing rooms and restrooms are available and accessible. Adapted restrooms are located in the reception lobby, along the path to the pools, and near the outdoor pools.
