Description of the facility

The swimming pool facilities in Hrastik are inaccessible.
There is no nearby public transport stop, but a partially adapted parking space is available near the entrance.
The pool is located on a raised ground floor, with an entrance that is difficult to locate and poorly marked. Access to the entrance is via a staircase unsuitable for blind and visually impaired persons (narrow in places, metal mesh steps with open risers). There is no ramp, lifting platform, or elevator.

Beyond the entrance and vestibule lies the reception desk, followed by access to the saunas, changing rooms, and toilets. Through the changing rooms and additional toilets, one can reach the pool area.
For wheelchair users, the entire interior is inaccessible — there is insufficient maneuvering space, no adapted facilities, no accessible toilets, and no pool lift.
The saunas are not adapted for persons with disabilities.
There is no hearing loop system, though written information is generally provided appropriately.

Mobility impaired:

  • Main passageways are wide enough for wheelchair users.

Blind and visually impaired:

  • The reception desk is located near the entrance,
  • Main signs and notices are placed at appropriate heights,
  • Main signs and notices are contrasting and readable.

  • There are no specific adaptations for the deaf or hard of hearing.

Deficiencies

Mobility impaired:

  • The adapted parking space is not of adequate size, though it is marked,
  • The entrance is inaccessible due to stairs, door width, and door weight,
  • The height difference at the entrance is not properly bridged,
  • The reception desk is not height-adjusted for wheelchair users,
  • Height differences within the building are not properly bridged,
  • There is no elevator,
  • There are no adapted toilets,
  • The pool is not equipped with a pool lift,
  • There are no adapted changing rooms or cabins,
  • There are no adapted showers,
  • The saunas are not accessible.

Blind and visually impaired:

  • The entrance is not clearly recognizable,
  • The information board near the entrance is inadequate,
  • Glass doors lack contrasting markings,
  • There are sudden transitions between bright and dark areas,
  • Stair edges are not marked in contrast,
  • Edges of level changes are not marked in contrast.

Deaf and hard of hearing:

  • The reception desk is not equipped with a hearing loop,
  • The reception desk is positioned in front of windows,
  • The glass partition of the reception desk is reflective and glaring.
