UIRS accessibility assessment
Description of the facility
The Dobrote Dolenjske building is partially accessible, but inaccessible for wheelchair users.
There is no nearby public transport stop. The building is located in a motor-traffic restricted area, so car access is not possible. Parking is arranged in a public lot, which is quite far from the entrance; adapted parking spaces are on a sloped terrain.
The path from the parking spaces to the building is difficult due to a narrow sidewalk and the terrain slope.
The store spaces are located on a semi-basement floor.
The entrance has glass swing doors that remain open during operating hours and are of adequate width. Aside from the stairs at the entrance, there is no ramp or lift, so access for wheelchair users is not possible.
The cashier counter is not height-adjusted for wheelchair users and is not equipped with a hearing loop.
There is insufficient maneuvering space between shelves for turning a wheelchair. Only some shelves are at appropriate heights. Labels, prices, and product descriptions are not large enough and lack sufficient contrast.
Staff is available to assist with purchases.
There are no adapted toilets in the building.
