Description of the facility

The gallery is inaccessible for wheelchair users. The building is a protected cultural heritage site.
Accessible parking spaces are located in a public parking lot nearby. The parking lot is on elevated terrain, and only poorly arranged stairs lead from it.
The nearest bus stop is located along the coast, and the path to the building runs along the city walls. A large height difference from the base to the top of the walls can be overcome with a properly installed external lift or stairs.
The raised entrance to the building is noticeable, but only stairs lead to the entrance doors. The stairs are unsecured and, due to varying depth, height, and slope, pose a significant risk of tripping and falling.
The gallery is located on the 2nd floor, accessible by stairs; there is no elevator or lift platform.
The entrance to the exhibition spaces is less noticeable, with doors raised on a step. The accompanying exhibition text is of appropriate size and contrast, but the descriptions of artworks are too small. There are no adapted exhibition contents for blind and visually impaired persons. Lighting in the exhibition spaces is poor, and the floor surface is reflective.
There are no accessible restrooms in the building.
