Description of the facility

The Central Library of Celje – Štore Library is partially accessible.
An adapted parking space is located near the entrance. The shorter access route from the nearest bus stop includes stairs and passes through the parking area, while a longer, step-free route runs along the sidewalk around the parking area.
Štore Library is located on the first floor of the building.
The entrance doors to the building are not accessible to manual wheelchair users or users of low-powered electric wheelchairs due to a high threshold.
Access to the library entrance is via stairs and an elevator. The stairs are difficult to perceive, and the edges are not marked in contrast. The elevator is accessible for wheelchair users.
At the entrance to the library, there are glass double doors of appropriate width. Near the entrance, there is a counter that is not height-adjusted for wheelchair users and is not equipped with a hearing loop.
The main paths to the bookshelves are wide enough for wheelchair users, but passage is obstructed by movable furniture (chairs and book boxes). Between some bookshelves, there is not enough space for maneuvering or for frontal access with a wheelchair.
In the children’s section, the reading tables are height-adjusted appropriately.
The library offers books adapted for the blind and visually impaired (large-print books, children’s books in Braille, and audiobooks).
The library includes adapted restrooms; however, the interior lacks sufficient maneuvering space to access the fixtures.
