Description of the facility

The Burek Olimpija is partially accessible.
A bus stop is located nearby and is accessible via the sidewalk. There are tactile markings in the vicinity of the bus stop; however, they do not continue toward the snack bar.
The snack bar is located on a wide sidewalk along the road and consists only of outdoor areas under a canvas canopy. It features a sales counter and an additional counter, which can serve as a table or a place to set items down.
The sales window and counter are too high for wheelchair users, but the vendor can open a side door next to the counter if needed, making communication easier.
The price list is placed next to the sales window, above the shelf. For wheelchair users, it is difficult to see because the shelf obstructs the view, but it is appropriately high-contrast and large enough for visually impaired individuals.
There are no hearing loops in the facility, and it does not include restrooms.

Adjustments

Mobility-impaired persons:

  • There is sufficient maneuvering space in front of the sales counter for wheelchair users.

Blind and visually impaired persons:

  • The access to the sales counter is clearly recognizable,
  • Signage and notices in the facility are placed at appropriate heights,
  • Signage and notices are high-contrast and easy to read,
  • There are no obstacles or hazardous objects within the area,
  • No major adjustments are required for blind or visually impaired persons.

Deaf and hard of hearing persons:

  • The sales counter is well-lit, allowing for lip reading and facial expression visibility,
  • The sales counter is positioned so that there are no windows behind it,
  • The glazing of the sales counter is not reflective or glaring,
  • No major adjustments are required for deaf or hard of hearing persons.

Deficiencies

Mobility-impaired persons:

  • The sales counter is not height-adjusted for wheelchair users,
  • The secondary counter is not height-adjusted for wheelchair users,
  • There are no accessible restrooms available.

Blind and visually impaired persons:

  • There are no major deficiencies for blind or visually impaired persons.

Deaf and hard of hearing persons:

  • The sales counter is not equipped with a hearing loop for hard of hearing persons.
