Description of the facility

The publishing office is inaccessible for people with mobility impairments and only partially accessible for other persons with disabilities. Access to the premises is via stairs that are not marked with contrast. The offices are well lit. There is a parking area nearby, but it is not adapted for people with disabilities.

People who are blind or visually impaired:

  • Signs and labels within the building are placed at appropriate heights and are contrastive and legible.

People who are deaf or hard of hearing:

  • The lighting in the offices is suitable and allows for lip-reading and facial expression recognition.

Deficiencies:

People with mobility impairments:

  • There is a parking area nearby, but no designated accessible parking space,
  • There are stairs at the entrance to the building,
  • The entrance doors are not wide enough,
  • The entrance doors are heavy,
  • There are unbridged height differences at the entrance and inside the building,
  • There is no elevator in the building,
  • There are no adapted sanitary facilities in the building.

People who are blind or visually impaired:

  • The information sign next to the main entrance is inadequate,
  • There are sudden transitions from bright to dark areas inside the building,
  • The edges of stairs and height differences are not marked with contrast,
  • The passageway is obstructed by hazardous objects (a display case in the corridor in front of the offices on the first floor),
  • Hazardous objects are not properly marked.

People who are deaf or hard of hearing:

  • No deficiencies.
