Description of the facility

The Audio BM building is easily accessible.
A bus stop is located near the building.
There is a space near the entrance where temporary parking for people with mobility impairments is allowed, although the parking area is not marked.
The store is located on the ground floor of the building. The entrance is clearly recognizable but not accessible, as it is narrow and has a threshold. The second door leaf can be opened, but only with assistance. The counter is located close to the entrance and is easily noticeable, but it is too high for wheelchair users. The reception area provides sufficient maneuvering space for wheelchair users.
From the reception area, access is provided to a client office. The desk in this room is accessible to wheelchair users. The room also includes a small hearing test area. The facility allows testing of Bluetooth interfaces and other hearing aids for improved communication. However, this space is not accessible for people with mobility impairments due to narrow doors and a high threshold.

Adaptations

People with mobility impairments:

  • an adapted parking space is available near the entrance,
  • there is sufficient maneuvering space inside for wheelchair users.

Blind and visually impaired:

  • the building entrance is clearly recognizable,
  • the building is marked with an appropriate information board,
  • the reception counter is located near the entrance,
  • there are no sudden transitions from bright to dark areas in the building,
  • the building is free of obstacles and hazardous objects.

Deaf and hard of hearing:

  • it is possible to test Bluetooth interfaces and other hearing aids for better communication within the facility,
  • the reception counter is well-lit and allows lip reading and facial expression reading,
  • the reception counter is positioned so that there are no windows behind it.

Deficiencies

People with mobility impairments:

  • the adapted parking space is not properly marked,
  • the entrance is not wide enough for wheelchair access; the second door leaf can be opened only with assistance,
  • the reception counter is not height-adjusted for wheelchair users.

Blind and visually impaired:

  • there are no significant deficiencies for blind and visually impaired persons in the building.

Deaf and hard of hearing:

  • there are no significant deficiencies for deaf and hard of hearing persons in the building.
