Description of the facility

Audio BM company is partially accessible. The company is located on the ground floor of a multi-purpose building and has a separate entrance. Access to the entrance is through a larger public space. The entrance has a high non-contrasting step. A foldable telescopic ramp is available for wheelchair users with the assistance of staff. The hinged glass entrance doors are not wide enough for wheelchair users. There is sufficient maneuvering space in the reception area and office. Lighting in the building is adequate.
It is possible to test a Bluetooth interface and a portable induction loop for hearing aids for better communication.

Adaptations:

Mobility impaired:

  • an accessible parking space is available in a larger paid parking lot, not immediately near the entrance (150 m),
  • a foldable telescopic ramp is available for access to the building,
  • there is sufficient maneuvering space inside.

Blind and visually impaired:

  • glass doors are contrast-marked,
  • the reception area is located immediately near the entrance,
  • there are no sudden transitions from light to dark areas inside the building.

Deaf and hard of hearing:

  • the rooms are properly lit and allow lip reading and observation of facial expressions,
  • the rooms are adequately sound-insulated,
  • it is possible to test a Bluetooth interface and a portable induction loop for hearing aids for better communication.

Shortcomings:

Mobility impaired:

  • there is no accessible parking space near the building,
  • there is no short-term stopping area near the entrance,
  • the entrance has a step; entry requires a foldable telescopic ramp,
  • the entrance doors to the company premises are not wide enough,
  • there are no sanitary facilities inside the building (not a requirement).

Blind and visually impaired:

  • the step at the entrance is not contrast-marked.

Deaf and hard of hearing:

  • no shortcomings.
