The <strong>Arena per Tutti (\u201cArena for All\u201d)<\/strong> project, considered the largest accessible opera project in Europe, will once again provide an inclusive cultural experience for visitors with disabilities from around the world between <strong>27 June and 9 September 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>In 2026, a total of <strong>26 fully accessible evening performances<\/strong> will be available, specifically adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. <strong>2,600 seats in the front rows<\/strong> will be reserved for visitors with disabilities and their companions, while reduced ticket prices will also be offered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Particular attention is being given to <strong>communication accessibility<\/strong>. Visitors will have access to digital opera booklets with simplified texts in <strong>Italian, English, and German<\/strong>, subtitles, and audio descriptions of performances in three languages. Accessible promotional materials with sign language interpretation and easy-to-read guides will also be available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The biggest innovation of the upcoming season will be the introduction of <strong>new multi-sensory tours and workshops<\/strong> designed for visitors with disabilities and their companions. On <strong>19 selected evenings<\/strong>, they will be able to participate free of charge in special experiences before the start of the opera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The programme will include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>singing workshops and opportunities to learn about vocal techniques together with members of the opera choir,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>guided backstage and stage tours, where visitors will discover the scenery, costumes, and props,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>new musical experiences exploring instruments, sounds, and musical dynamics,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Details of the new programmes will be announced by the organizers in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The strong interest in accessible cultural content is also confirmed by the results of this year\u2019s season. In 2025, nearly <strong>4,000 people with disabilities<\/strong> attended opera performances at the Arena, while more than <strong>1,400 visitors<\/strong> made use of inclusive technologies and multi-sensory programmes. Attendance increased by <strong>42 percent<\/strong> compared to the previous year, and the number of international visitors almost tripled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>For the 2026 season, more than <strong>350 places<\/strong> have already been reserved, demonstrating that interest in accessible culture and inclusive events is rapidly growing across Europe.
