In front of the building, there is one partially adapted parking space. Access to the parking lot is through an automatic barrier, which can be raised by calling. The entrance to the building is recognizable and equipped with a ramp, but there is a barely noticeable step in front of it. The glass sliding entrance doors are not marked with contrast.<br \/>\nInside, all floors are connected by stairs and a sufficiently large elevator, which has touchscreen buttons, making it difficult to use for blind and visually impaired persons.<br \/>\nUpon arriving on the second floor, there is a reception desk that is height-adjusted for wheelchair users. One of the staff members can communicate in basic Slovenian sign language, but there is no hearing loop.<br \/>\nTo the left of the reception are adapted restrooms, and to the right are common areas: a dining room, kitchen, lounge, shared terrace, and rooms.<br \/>\nThe dining room provides enough maneuvering space between the furniture. The self-service breakfast counters are height-adjusted, but food and drinks on the counters are difficult to reach.<br \/>\nThe shared kitchen does not allow front access to appliances for wheelchair users, and the kitchen equipment is not specially adapted.<br \/>\nThe hostel offers accessible accommodation rooms, one of which is located on the third floor, accessible by an elevator operated with a key.<br \/>\nThe room is single, with sufficient maneuvering space, but it is located in the attic, which may make transferring or using a room lift difficult due to the low ceiling. The ceiling above the toilet in the bathroom is also low. The bathroom allows proper access to equipment, which is height-adjusted. The bathroom is accessible and equipped accordingly, but the shower is too small and lacks grab bars, although a shower chair is available. The kitchenette in the room is not adapted for persons with disabilities.<br \/>\nOn the same floor, there is also a reading and work corner and a balcony.<br \/>\nMost signs in the hostel are not of adequate size or contrast.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adaptations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For persons with mobility impairments:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a partially adapted parking space is located near the entrance,<\/li>\n<li>the main entrance to the building is accessible,<\/li>\n<li>the main entrance has automatic sliding doors,<\/li>\n<li>the ramp is properly designed and can be used independently,<\/li>\n<li>height differences inside the building are properly bridged,<\/li>\n<li>there is enough maneuvering space inside the building for wheelchair users,<\/li>\n<li>the building has a sufficiently large elevator suitable for wheelchair users,<\/li>\n<li>the building includes an adapted restroom,<\/li>\n<li>the building offers partially adapted accommodation rooms for guests with mobility impairments,<\/li>\n<li>bathrooms in accessible rooms are partially adapted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For the blind and visually impaired:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the entrance to the building is clearly recognizable,<\/li>\n<li>there are no sudden transitions from bright to dark spaces inside the building,<\/li>\n<li>the edges of staircases are marked in contrast,<\/li>\n<li>signs and labels in the building are placed at appropriate heights,<\/li>\n<li>room numbers are tactile and contrasting,<\/li>\n<li>there are no obstacles or hazardous objects inside the building.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For the deaf and hard of hearing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the reception desk is positioned so that there are no windows behind it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Deficiencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For persons with mobility impairments:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the adapted parking space is marked but not of appropriate dimensions,<\/li>\n<li>the building does not have fully adapted restrooms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For the blind and visually impaired:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the information board at the main entrance is inadequate,<\/li>\n<li>glass doors are not marked with contrast,<\/li>\n<li>the reception desk glazing is reflective and glossy,<\/li>\n<li>signs and labels in the building are not contrasting or legible,<\/li>\n<li>elevator buttons are not tactile.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For the deaf and hard of hearing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the reception desk is not equipped with a hearing loop for hard-of-hearing persons,<\/li>\n<li>the reception desk glazing is reflective and glossy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","storitev":[11],"class_list":["post-2539","ponudnik","type-ponudnik","status-publish","hentry","storitev-turizem"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/invalidska-kartica.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ponudnik\/2539","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/invalidska-kartica.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ponudnik"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/invalidska-kartica.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/ponudnik"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/invalidska-kartica.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=2539"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"storitev","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/invalidska-kartica.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/storitev?post=2539"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
