At the main entrance to the building, there are two steps without proper bridging. Access to the floors where the exhibition spaces, workshop rooms, wedding hall, and sanitary facilities are located is only possible via stairs. The museum has an additional exhibition space on the ground floor, which is also inaccessible to wheelchair users due to two steps at the entrance.<br \/>\nThe museum provides several adaptations for blind and visually impaired persons (tactile maps for orientation, adapted tactile exhibition objects, braille texts, audio guide, contrasting signs, etc.).<br \/>\nThe wedding hall does not have a hearing loop.<\/p>\n<p><b>Adjustments:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Mobility impaired:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>there is enough maneuvering space inside the gallery spaces on the floors (the floors are not accessible),<\/li>\n<li>exhibition objects are at an appropriate height.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Blind and visually impaired:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the entrance to the building is clearly recognizable,<\/li>\n<li>the signboard at the main entrance is appropriate,<\/li>\n<li>signs and labels in the building are contrasting and legible,<\/li>\n<li>exhibition information is also provided audibly (audio guide),<\/li>\n<li>edges of stairs and level changes are contrast-marked,<\/li>\n<li>selected exhibits allow tactile exploration of the exhibition material.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Deaf and hard-of-hearing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the reception desk is properly lit and allows lip-reading and reading facial expressions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Deficiencies:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Mobility impaired:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the adapted parking space is not organized,<\/li>\n<li>the entrance to the building is not accessible (due to two steps),<\/li>\n<li>level differences inside are not properly bridged,<\/li>\n<li>there is no elevator in the building to access the museum spaces and the wedding hall,<\/li>\n<li>there are no adapted sanitary facilities in the building.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Blind and visually impaired:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the reception desk is not located immediately near the entrance,<\/li>\n<li>the path to the distant reception desk is not tactilely marked,<\/li>\n<li>signs and labels in the building are not at appropriate heights.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Deaf and hard-of-hearing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the wedding hall and reception desk are not equipped with a hearing loop.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","storitev":[4],"class_list":["post-2161","ponudnik","type-ponudnik","status-publish","hentry","storitev-razstave"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/invalidska-kartica.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ponudnik\/2161","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/invalidska-kartica.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ponudnik"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/invalidska-kartica.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/ponudnik"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/invalidska-kartica.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=2161"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"storitev","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/invalidska-kartica.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/storitev?post=2161"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
