The accessible path from the parking space for mobility-impaired persons to the main entrance is obstacle-free.<br \/>\nWheelchair users can enter the museum through the main doors if both door leaves are open. In the lobby, there are stairs and an unsecured ramp that are not contrast-marked.<br \/>\nThe museum exhibition spaces are located in the basement, ground floor, and first floor of the building. There is no elevator in the building.<br \/>\nFor wheelchair users, only the ground floor and first floor are accessible, where there is sufficient maneuvering space. A sloped lift is installed to access the upper floor, with a maximum load of 250 kg and dimensions below standard requirements.<br \/>\nRamps with slopes up to 14% are present in exhibition areas at transitions. In part of the exhibition space on the upper floor, there is an inappropriate raised glass walkway.<br \/>\nThere are no accessible sanitary facilities in the building.<br \/>\nPart of the ground floor is accessible to wheelchair users only via a side entrance.<br \/>\nInside the building, stairs, ramps, and level differences are without contrast markings. Exhibits do not allow tactile exploration of exhibition materials.<\/p>\n<p><b>Adaptations:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Mobility impaired:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>an accessible parking space is located near the entrance,<\/li>\n<li>both door leaves can be opened at the main entrance,<\/li>\n<li>a stair lift for wheelchair users is installed in the building,<\/li>\n<li>there is sufficient maneuvering space inside,<\/li>\n<li>ramps are provided between rooms, although with inadequate slopes,<\/li>\n<li>exhibits are at an appropriate height in the exhibition spaces.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Blind and visually impaired:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the entrance to the building is clearly recognizable,<\/li>\n<li>signage and labels inside the building are contrastive and legible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Deaf and hard of hearing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the reception desk is adequately lit and allows lip reading and observation of facial expressions,<\/li>\n<li>the glazing of the reception desk is not reflective or shiny.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Shortcomings:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Mobility impaired:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ramps have inadequate slopes and are not properly secured,<\/li>\n<li>the main entrance is not wide enough (if only the right door leaf is open),<\/li>\n<li>the reception desk height is not adapted for wheelchair users,<\/li>\n<li>the stair lift has a maximum load of only 250 kg,<\/li>\n<li>the dimensions of the stair lift are inadequate,<\/li>\n<li>in part of the upper-floor exhibition spaces, there is an inappropriate raised glass walkway,<\/li>\n<li>basement exhibition spaces are inaccessible due to stairs,<\/li>\n<li>there are no accessible sanitary facilities in the building.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Blind and visually impaired:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>there is no signage at the main entrance,<\/li>\n<li>the reception desk is not located near the entrance,<\/li>\n<li>the path to the distant reception desk is not tactilely marked,<\/li>\n<li>the reception desk window is not contrast-marked,<\/li>\n<li>signage and labels inside the building are not at appropriate heights,<\/li>\n<li>edges of stairs and level differences are not contrast-marked,<\/li>\n<li>selected exhibits do not allow tactile exploration of exhibition materials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Deaf and hard of hearing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the reception desk is not equipped with a hearing loop (not a required condition).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","storitev":[4],"class_list":["post-2126","ponudnik","type-ponudnik","status-publish","hentry","storitev-razstave"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/invalidska-kartica.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ponudnik\/2126","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/invalidska-kartica.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ponudnik"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/invalidska-kartica.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/ponudnik"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/invalidska-kartica.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=2126"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"storitev","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/invalidska-kartica.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/storitev?post=2126"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
