Inside the library, there is ample maneuvering space, and the counters are height-adjusted. On the ground floor, there is an adapted restroom. On the first floor, in addition to the library and study rooms, there is a multipurpose hall with movable seating. As there is no elevator in the building, access to the first floor for wheelchair users is provided via a lift platform on the side staircase. The building is well-lit.<\/p>\n<p><b>Adjustments:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Mobility impaired:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>an adapted parking space is located near the entrance,<\/li>\n<li>the main entrance to the building is accessible,<\/li>\n<li>the entrance has automatic sliding doors,<\/li>\n<li>a lift platform is installed for access to the first floor,<\/li>\n<li>the reception desk is height-adjusted,<\/li>\n<li>there is sufficient maneuvering space inside,<\/li>\n<li>an adapted restroom is provided on the ground floor,<\/li>\n<li>the arrangement of the bookshelves allows access with a wheelchair,<\/li>\n<li>the hall has movable seating.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Blind and visually impaired:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the entrance to the building is clearly recognizable,<\/li>\n<li>the building is marked with an appropriate information board,<\/li>\n<li>the reception desk is located in the immediate vicinity of the entrance,<\/li>\n<li>there are no sudden transitions from bright to dark areas inside the building,<\/li>\n<li>signage and labels inside the building are contrasting and readable,<\/li>\n<li>adapted materials are available in the library (audio books, large print books).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Deaf and hard of hearing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the reception desk is well-lit and allows lip reading and reading of facial expressions,<\/li>\n<li>the rooms are adequately sound-insulated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Deficiencies:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Mobility impaired:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the 24\/7 book return system is installed too high for wheelchair users,<\/li>\n<li>the stairs with the lift platform to the first floor are distant from the entrance and not easily visible,<\/li>\n<li>doors along the path to the lift platform are very heavy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Blind and visually impaired:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the glass entrance doors are not marked with contrast,<\/li>\n<li>the reception desk window is not marked with contrast,<\/li>\n<li>stair edges are not marked with contrast.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Deaf and hard of hearing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the reception desk is positioned with windows behind it,<\/li>\n<li>the hall and reception desk are not equipped with a hearing loop.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","storitev":[3],"class_list":["post-2078","ponudnik","type-ponudnik","status-publish","hentry","storitev-literatura"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/invalidska-kartica.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ponudnik\/2078","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/invalidska-kartica.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ponudnik"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/invalidska-kartica.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/ponudnik"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/invalidska-kartica.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=2078"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"storitev","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/invalidska-kartica.si\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/storitev?post=2078"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
